I'd love to be able to help you achieve your personal fitness goals. I've helped my clients:
- Form better long-term nutrition and fitness habits
- Become comfortable in the gym
- Move better, feel better
- Transform their body composition, manage weight
- Prevent injury
- Prepare for 5k, 10k, half marathons, marathons, and ultramarathons
- Program for sports-specific strength and conditioning work
- Prepare for physical preparedness tests such as the CPD POWER Test or the Firefighter CPAT
Whatever your goals, I can help you get there with in-person training or online training. Email me for a free consultation, and let's get started TODAY!
My approach is based in up-to-date scientific research and individualized to each client's needs and goals to achieve optimal results. Meaning I want to focus on what I think is going to benefit you the most during the session, and give you things to do on your own when applicable. Everything I do is geared toward helping you achieve your personal health and fitness goals, and keep your progress sustainable. I use Google Docs to write out programs and keep track of progress, as well as write articles and make videos so you have references to use any time you need them. I also have a nutrition certification and focus heavily on nutrition because it's one of the most important aspects of any body transformation or performance goal. I try and take as honest and as scientific an approach to training as possible, and don't use things like negative criticism or judgement because I'm here to help enhance your life, not drag you down.
I've helped many people throughout the years lose weight, gain muscle, feel better, deal with pain, injury, and other conditions, pass physical exams such as the Chicago Police P.O.W.E.R. or the Firefighter CPAT tests, train for marathons, regain lost mobility, increase strength, functionality, and stamina, and a lot more. I'm fortunate enough to have worked at a high volume, high capacity gym for five years and I've worked with hundreds of clients with many different of goals and needs that have helped me grow as a trainer and coach.
I try and do comedy (keyword try), I play music here and there, I try and read a lot about anything and everything, and I like to run, lift weights, and do martial arts (although I haven't trained any in a while.) I'm also a Wim Hof Method practitioner and would like to one day be able to teach it.
